About me

Home » Care, Hair » Mask for over-dried hair

Things You’ll Need:

  • olive oil
  • mayonnaise
  • eggs (two if you have long hair)
  • a bowl
  • a towel
  • a shower cap

1. I find that putting the towel in the dryer is the best first step. It allows it to get nice and hot while you are making the mixture and busying yourself with other things.

2. Take a table spoon of olive oil, one egg(two if you have long hair), a table spoon of mayonnaise(again, two if you have long hair) and mix them well. It should look like slightly lumpy and have a pale yellow tint to it.

3. Apply the mixture to wet hair BEFORE shampooing. Never use it as a stand alone conditioner because it does smell a little. Cover with a shower cap.
4.  Take the towel out of the dryer (it should be hot at this point), and wrap it about your head. After 20-30 minutes, rinse it out, shampoo, and condition. It worked wonders for my frizzy dry hair.
